This 30-minute continuing education course is presented by Dr. Scott Thompson, OTD, MOT, OTR/L, CSRS, LSVT BIG, the Director of Clinical Services for Saebo, Inc. The course will introduce you to the basic principles of the SaeboFlex and the SaeboReach, the difference between the two devices, evidence-based research concerning the purpose and use of dynamic orthotics for neurological recovery, and reasons to use the SaeboFlex and SaeboReach for your clients with moderate to severe spasticity. 

This introductory CEU course is intended for medical professionals (e.g. OT/OTA, PT/PTA, Physicians, Orthotists) directly related to the rehabilitation of a patient or client. To participate in this CEU and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed, treating clinician. Completion of this course will reward you with 0.5 NBCOT PDUs (0.05 AOTA CEUs). To receive credit you will need to complete all modules of the course, score ≥80% on the quiz.  You will have 90 days to complete this course.

Dr. Scott Thompson is a doctor of occupational therapy specializing in geriatrics and neurological rehabilitation with advanced treatment certifications in CSRS, LSVT-BIG and Saebo certifications. He currently is the Director of Clinical Services for Saebo, Inc., which includes product and business development, CEU development, research, marketing, sales, and online instructional videos. He also works as a per diem therapist to remain connected to clients, colleagues, and treatment, serves on multiple college advisory boards, and is a former executive chair for his State's Association and Foundation.
